June is bike month

my patient wanted to know if her new heart valve was harvested from a pig or a cow. for you see they replace heart valves either with man made mechanical ones or organic valves from animals. i was going to look in her chart to tell but coincidently the surgeon pops his head in through the curtains.

"Hello Mrs. M how are you doing?"

"Oh I'm fine doctor. I'm just wondering if I'm an oink or a moo," she asks. 

He swiftly replys, "All women are cows and all men are pigs." Then leaves.

Recipe for Effective and Productive Knowledge

Apostle Peter says this “Make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self control; and to self control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love” (2 Peter 1:5-6).

Why?

“For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ” (2 Peter 1:8).

Among other things, I was created to be like Christ. Therefore I need the knowledge of him to live a Jesus centered life. I’ve recently hit a slight dry spot in my walk of faith but I’m slowly bouncing back. It’s a mere dip in the market but the prospects are looking good. Unimaginably good.

I found the perfect dance partner.

She is a stunning five foot one, just right for turns under my hand. Her legs built as sensuously as they come. It’s as if they knew how to dance before they could crawl. Her hips sway like autumn leaves on a windless day. With a personality to match her smile beams like a radiant disco ball. It illuminates the room with such delight that all who fall prey to such a sight will be itching to dance with joy. When I’ve mixed up my lefts and rights and have gone astray from the music I am neither sad nor embarrassed for I know my dance partner will be patient and above all else laughing with me. Chances are rare that I will be found in a cheerless state when I am dancing with her- next to none. But if the time comes, God forbid, that my happiness is displaced she will brush the hair behind my ear and I will be lively once again. Her touch you see is enchanting. If Aphrodite watched us dance she would be jealous. She’d ask to cut in but I’d have to gently decline for I’d be a fool to give up the chance to dance with my dance partner. In times like these when I can’t sleep I dare to dream of moments to come where SHE will be the one to sweep me off my feet.

Got a chance to go eat sushi with Gentson. Too bad we didn't find out the secret ingredient till after we ate.
